Cost: $12 million
Description: The goal of the project is to restore 10,000
acres of wetlands by the time the implementation of the comprehensive plan
is complete. The project will use traditional sources of state and federal
funding to complete standard wetland restoration projects.
Outcome: At date, approximately 5,000 acres have already
been restored. The project is recommended for other NEPs.
