Delaware Inland Bays

Policy Initiative for County Land Use

Description:  Newly formed Office of State Planning is implementing count land use planning reforms.  Delaware Inland Bays' watershed is labeled as an "environmental sensitive" area.

Outcome:  All three Delaware Counties must comply with "Land Use Planning Act" provisions in local county planning.  This provides a statewide framework for future environmental regulations and policies.
