Maryland Coastal Bays

Weekly Column and "Snap Shot of the Week" in Local Newspapers

Cost: Staff time only

Description: The staff of the Maryland Coastal Bays Program writes a weekly column on Coastal Bay issues for four newspapers. The staff also creates a weekly "snap shot of the week" of bay plants and/or animals issues with a caption for two other newspapers.

Outcome: This has been a very effective outreach and education tool for the program.
