Mini-grants to Help Restore Habitat or Protect Water Quality

Category: Submerged, Intertidal, Wetland, and Upland

Cost: $125,000

Description: Mini-grants would be awarded to qualifying organizations including local schools, municipalities, businesses, and individuals, clubs, etc., that submit proposals to restore habitat or protect water quality.

Outcome: This was a great outreach tool and was very effective. Its future will depend on a continued funding source.
