Seagrass Transect Monitoring

Description: The project entails monitoring 75 seagrass transects on a bi-monthly basis. The data collected includes: species, composition, seagrass density, depth penetration, water quality parameters, light parameters, and a video record of the transect.

Outcome: The seagrass data collected from the 75 points along the Indian River Lagoon will be used for comparing between sites, between seasons, and between years, to determine trends in the seagrass community.
